ABOUT HONDURAS FINCA EL PUENTE
Finca el Puente Natural Geisha is our single-origin coffee grown using the fine variety of Geisha coffee and subjected to a natural manufacturing process. During this process, the coffee beans are allowed to dry within the drupe of the fruit, allowing them to absorb natural flavors and develop a unique taste profile.
The taste notes of this specialty coffee are a riot of intense flavours. Plum offers an elegant sweetness, while mandarin brings a touch of citrus freshness. These nuances of taste blend perfectly with the natural sweetness of the coffee, reminiscent of ripe fruit. The acidity, albeit medium-low, has hints of citrus that give vivacity to the cup.
Unsurprisingly, this Farm's coffee has held the record as the most expensive coffee for years sold at the auction of the "Cup of Excellence" of Honduras. The Geisha of Finca el Puente is a variety refined that has never stopped improving its quality, today comparable to the best Geisha of Panama. Finca El Puente Geisha Washed is one of the most exclusive coffees on our list and thanks to its exotic and tropical taste will conquer the finest palates. The quantity available is very little and one once finished you will have to wait about a year.
